I’m an award-winning journalist and writer with more than 15 years of experience in the media industry. Previously, I was editor at The Local Germany where I launched, hosted and produced the Germany in Focus podcast. Originally from Scotland, I’m now based in Berlin.

Alongside my journalism work, I offer creative copywriting and content writing services, including blogs, newsletters and editorial content, helping brands and organisations share their stories. I also enjoy podcasting and moderating panels.

📝In May 2025 I launched a Substack newsletter called Kaffee+Kuchen to share writing and audio on living abroad in Germany as well as on topics like career, freelancing and travel. I’m delighted to have nearly 400 subscribers.
