About

I’m an award-winning freelance writer, journalist and editor based in Berlin, Germany.

I previously worked as a feature writer, reporter and content editor at the Evening Express in Aberdeen and as a reporter and columnist at the Evening Times, Herald and Sunday Herald newspapers in Glasgow.

As part of the International Journalists Programme (IJP) I worked as a foreign correspondent at Die Welt / WeltN24 in Berlin.

I specialise in human interest stories. I have covered social affairs, gender issues, including violence against women, politics, lifestyle stories and have written extensively about the refugee crisis. I am also interested in culture and travel.
